Gracias seƱor...
I tapped the outlet on the side of the pan this weekend so I can use my autometer sensor. Also got the stare installed and the wiring harness laid out. Oh, and hooked up the truck PS pump. Which was a pita btw... I hope to get the headers installed this weekend and a couple of other small items. Ill keep ya posted!

I must be the slowest installer out there....All I got done was the headers, plug wires, installed the autometer sensor to the side of the pan, water temp sensor, and removed some heat shields...I did the vette filter/regulator last week. Eh, I think Im slow cause I stop in between to play with my son here and there. I plan on trying to start it up either this weekend or the next. Just ordered the fitting to make the new intake set up work. And should be getting my fuel rail/injectors soon. Tb sensors will get here by the end of the week also. Bad part is...Ill get it started but I dont have enough money to buy the trans yet so Ill get to hear it, just not drive it.

Got the alt. completely done last night and finally got the right size belt installed. Then I went ahead and started to rearrange the wiring. Got the wiring all finished up except for a couple of grounds but those are easy. Im worried I didnt do the wiring right and I wont find out till at least wed. cause thats when the rails come in. Also got the maf and filter set up installed for the last time. So thats it for now, she will be alive soon. Just not moving cause theres no trans....hehehe

Get you an inexpensive th350 with a 2500 stall.
Then go show those ls1 six speed boys a lesson!

Heck, I dont want an auto at all but if im going auto it sure as heck will have more than 3 gears. If it was strictly for track then ok, but we do too much cruising for that.

You could put a th350 in it with a small converter and run like a 3.08,3.23, or lower gear. Prolly cruise at 2200 at 60 mph. Big trans cooler, and enjoy a consistent vehicle sir!

Now to work out the bugs. Belt keeps slipping off and the thermostat didnt open so the coolant hasnt made it into the engine. Im curious to see if the obd port actually works. but hey, at least it started right up once I added a couple of power wires to the pcm. www.youtube.com/watch
