picked up an LS radiator with around 20k miles for 55 dollars. With good hoses still attached and is super clean inside. I wasnt going to buy it because I was planning on using the old one but I just couldnt pass it up.

BTW it was a no go on that turbo. I either gave it away, threw it out, or someone carried it off.

well, I got in a few hours trying to make the truck bracket and water pump to work and heres what I came up with. The 3rd gen alternator will sit where the old tensioner pulley was and the pulley from the tensioner got removed from its bracket and will be used stationary in one of the bolt holes above the steering pump. I will have to make a custom bracket for the alt and it will be adjustable so that I can maintain proper tension on the belt. Here is the set up with my sweet cardboard alt. bracket. Should only cost me around 20-30 dollars in materials. SWEET!!! Best part is I can reuse the belt I had just bought for the last set up. :-) Hopefully I can work on it some more next weekend. BTW anybody know someone with access to waterjet or cnc

oh yeah, I will be cutting off the top of the bracket so it will not be as ugly. Im also missing pwr steering pump in the pic but I will be using the old one aswell.
