No need he is more than likely going to run a meth kit on it now due to the face that e85 is going to be harder and harder to fine. Do wha'
Admin's Note:
Say it ain't so
Admin's Note:
E85 is superior to Methanol in many respects. HEB @ 1604/Culebra down the street from his casita shows to have it @ $2.81/gallon (phone call verified on 01-11-12 @ 7:00PM). How much closer does it need to be for a car that lives in a garage 8 months out of the year
Admin's Note:
So 'Drew isn't going to use E85 after all
Admin's Note:
! Track monkey throwing poo at this idea! WEAKSAUCE!

No need he is more than likely going to run a meth kit on it now due to the face that e85 is going to be harder and harder to fine. Sorry chris but that is astronomically preposterous! If you're referring to that stupid outdated link someone posted on tech, quoted with "Say goodbye to e85" Then I have read it as well. I didnt find any statement where the production of E85 was going to cease to exist. If anything its quite the contrary the all knowing and all powerful US Govt decided to stop funding alternative fuel for the Corn industry. If you guys havent noticed the value of corn was rising somewhat, at the rate it was going I was going to be cheaper to drink a liter of gasoline than a liter of cola LOL! E85 can be made from other sources, I'm sure there are plenty of starchy plants in this green earth other than corn. So sorry for rambling on an on... but there is an ethanol terminal in hondo that has been expanding their rail yard for the last 4 months. They are a huge supplier for Valero, I've seen tankers go in and out of there all day long. So I really doubt they will stop production ;D

Thought u had to have a fuel system designed to run E85. Have read it will eat through rubber and plastics not designed for that fuel. I let you know how mine comes out! The redz converting to e85 soon will see how much more power it makes on the motor. hahahahahaha I love it.

Here is the deal. Pat g is going to tune the car with 2 tunes. E85 and pump gas +Meth. Pump gas will be first BC there isn't e85 north of Dallas in route to stillwater Oklahoma. When I return we will turn it up and tune it on e85. I got the 80lb injectors in and the 3bar map last week. I will use the e85 for kill mode. Shopping for.boost controllers right now. Probably will buy a manual one for now until I get it running. Alky control will be building the Meth kit. Should be.her next month.

Still haven't gotten the cold side, Turbo, intercooler, bov, and pusher fans. We will see as I am becoming more angry everyday I get home and the $h1t ain't at my door. Gears will be 3.54 and will buy them after the other crap gets here. Spoke with Lonnie's also and he is just waiting for me to drop the tank. I hope to get a lot done next weekend. Had to go to Houston this weekend.

1604 culebra on the west side. Closest one to us.
*Spoke to Precision today. Turbo is backordered for 2 weeks. Looks like it may be time to drop the tank and get the dang bucket out of the tank and get it shipped.
