oh boy....look what I got in the mail today.....and of course, Andrew hooked me up with the oil feed/drain lines....Thanks! I've been trying to get Ward to do this for years. Thank you 'Cardo...really THANK YOU! Dude thats going to be awesome!!! BTW, need to put something like "Triple Heart Transplant Recipient" or something like that in your sig. Then once you put the turbo on you can call it the pace maker!!!

Well, I got my tranny back from Greaseymec last night so today I went ahead and started the swap. took the old one down fairly easy but then putting the new one up decided to put up a fight. Once I finally got the bellhousing tightened up I noticed im going to have to weld a plate to the crossmember so the tranny will bolt in. I also still need an LS style tq arm mount so Ill be heading to the JY tomorrow for that. I then went to bolt in the TC and to start off the bolts were a different size but I got lucky and had another set of TC bolts that fit right in. So 2 of the bolts went in and then I go to get the third one in and it wont go through the hole in the flexplate! WTH! Admin's Note:
! Admin's Note:
! So I took the handy dremel and little by little I got the hole big enough through the hole for the starter. Finally it all bolted in but I still have to install the new trans cooler and modify the crossmember. Oh yeah and the darn Y pipe burned a hole through the factory fuel line. Yay!!!! Im lucky im still alive I guess....

Well its all put back together and I did drive it around a bit and man it sure feels different with that new TC. I love how quick the new tranny shifts also.
I think Im really going to have to call the car "SAFB's left over parts car" because I went by Birds house today and he's hooking me up with some injectors and ported heads for the turbo build. Im so freakin excited! Thanks SAFB for helping out so much!

After such a dissapointing track outing I havent messed with the car since. After trying and trying to contact the guy who tuned my car and getting nowhere I called up Fuel Injection and set up an app for them to look at the car and see if they can find where my problem is. Its for July 9 so its a ways away but what the heck....car is just sitting here collecting dust anyway....

Depends on car , power adder, etc.....I just paid 500 but that was with 10 wot passes and the tuning. Obviously mine is high because of the turbo. Great shop, great dinner guest, and great people to deal with.

I am going to give it a try depending if I'm going to start working on the car or not. Just got to fix that ticking noise that's driving me crazy.

well, got FIS to check it out and the first thing that showed up was neither o2 sensor was working. He says thats only going to affect how good it runs for everyday driving, not WOT like at the track. Other than that, he adjusted the tc lock up so its not all over the place anymore and it all looks good. He thinks my low track times are due mostly to having 3.42 gears and a 3600 stall. He suggested I go with 3.73's. So first thing is replace the sensors and then prolly do some gears on the spare rear end.

Yeah they were awesome to deal with. Went above and beyond to make sure it was all good. Of course within the limits of my budget. Willie kept wanting to strap it on the dyno and do some WOT runs on it. lol I had to decline as that would've cost way more. I'll let him have at it once its turboed though.
