So I'm in a bind guys. I think I have a short somewhere in my wiring. I have disconnected the underglow lights and my sound system, and had the battery fully charged but yet my car still died. I'm close to throwing in the towel with this. Can anyone come help me do a wiring check and I'll provide some beers and food. Any help I highly appreciated.

My battery dies all the time also but I think in my case its just cause the batt is old. Anyway, did u have the battery tested Admin's Note:
Also, once I had an alt. go bad and it would still charge but it would drain the battery when it was off. I know the alt is a pita to take off so maybe google a way to test an alt at home.

there are a bunch of videos on youtube that can help you find out if you have a drain on the battery while the car is off using a multimeter. good luck

Could be your diode. I'm not to familiar with our car's charging systems. but on my rigs every time the temp goes from hot to cold The diode inside my alternator takes a dump and my truck wont start the next morning.

Sounds like you have an unintended draw on your battery, but not a short. Otherwise, you'd have a c/b out. Good call disconneting the light and stereo. Is the car actually dying when you drive or is the battery dead when you try and start it Admin's Note:
Brake lights staying on by chance Admin's Note:
The battery is dying when car isn't driven for a few days...when it's on the car stays on...no lights stay on when car is turned off I'm going to send it to have it looked at since I can't narrow down what it is...

So I jumped the battery the day before yesterday and drove the car around the block and parked it...I turned it on for the first time today and it started right up with no problems...I think my car is just messing with me
